Welcome! My name is Maddie, and I am an aspiring young scholar who loves coffee, cats and procrastinating waaayyyy too much. In 2023 I completed my Honour’s degree in Literary Studies. In the near future I aspire to travel, publish and explore what the world has to offer beyond university.

UNI: My honours course entailed a 16,000 word thesis- the biggest project I have pursued to date! In my thesis I compared how gender, sexuality and girlhood have been presented in feminist tales of Little Red Riding Hood, and evaluated the trend in which these revisions are heading.

BOOKS: I have always loved reading and some of my favourite genres include, Classic Literature, Fantasy, YA Fiction, Poetry and Romance (but please don’t ask me about my favourite book, it’s hard to choose)

PETS: Above are my beautiful fur babies! They are the light of my life, and my number one study buddies. They accompany me all the time while I write, and even became quite popular in my online Zoom classes during the pandemic lockdowns of 2020!
